CDNA Season Information Below:-

Entries Close:                             Monday 22nd January 2024 at 5pm (no late entries will be accepted)

Season Commences:              Friday 9th & Saturday 10th February 2024

Friday nights - 9/U and 11/U
The season will comprise a 15-week competition, to conclude on Friday 21st June.

Saturday mornings – 13U, 15U, mixed 18U, 18U (Female), Open (Female)
The season will comprise a 13-week competition, to conclude on Saturday 1st June followed by a 2-week final series; 

Finals dates for the 13/U and above age groups are:

Mixed Division
A separate mixed division is offered in the 18/U age group only.

Compulsory Delegates Meeting.

CDNA may hold an Autumn Delegates meeting to discuss the Autumn Season as recent events have triggered some changes in the Bylaws that will apply from the Autumn season.

If a meeting is scheduled all clubs must provide one delegate to attend. This Delegates Meeting will be held on Tuesday 6th February, 2024 commencing at 7:00pm at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve netball courts. Clubs and independent teams must send at least one delegate to represent them.

All new teams must have a delegate present.

Penalty for non-attendance for the entire meeting is the loss of 4 ladder points or a fine for the clubs/teams. 

Important competition and Association program information is discussed at the Delegates meeting and it is the delegates’ role to relay this information back to the team/s they are representing in a timely and accurate manner. .

All players and coaches registering in this competition must hold a 2024 Netball Victoria Membership. Clubs are to provide registration forms via Netball Connect for their players to register and purchase NV Membership. Individual teams, not affiliated with a club will need to purchase their Netball Victoria Membership online at  Purchase Netball Vic membership for 2024  prior to playing their first game in this competition.

Players only playing one game can purchase a single game voucher online or from the Court Supervisor’s Office or online using our normal registration form and selecting Single Game instead of Full Season.. A maximum of 3 SGV vouchers per year can be purchased.

Clubs will receive an invoice for Netball Victoria Memberships during the season if they are not on the Split Payment System in Netball Connect. (Instructions for this are available if needed)

Grading / Player Eligibility:

In line with CDNA’s Grading Policy, teams will be graded according to ability, previous performance, age and requests. There will be three rounds of grading.

Maximum age on 31st December  2024.

Cancellation of Competition
CDNA will comply with any Government, Council and Netball Victoria directions if advised that community sport may not go ahead for a specified amount of time. Any necessary changes will be made and communicated to all CDNA clubs/teams and refunds may be applied at the discretion of the Association.

Entries:

All clubs must register their teams through Netball Connect.
Individual team entries (not affiliated with clubs (can now be done online and should be done so by the close of business Friday 19th January 2024 via our website (www.cdna.net.au > Join > Registration) or via this link: Individual Team Entry Form

All teams must be submitted online by close of business Monday 22nd January 2024 to allow time for teams to be graded and fixtured into the competition.

Any new teams wanting to enter our Association must submit an enquiry to office@cdna.net.au  seeking approval.

Child Safety
All coaches, Committee members and umpires over the age of 18 must have a valid Working With Children Check. It is the responsibility of individual clubs to ensure this is adhered to and a current record is kept. Refer our page for further information.
