Below are the procedures from CDNA for Grand Finals:-
Approximately 5 minutes before the scheduled match time, we will be announcing each team name and umpire onto the court. We will ask the players to start on the side of the court and then run onto the transverse line together when the team name is announced. We will then announce the umpires on as well and check the players’ nails as they walk across the court. Once all courts are finished, we’ll get the players to say good luck to each other and then we will announce how long left before the game starts, which will be approximately 1-2 minutes.
Attached (and below) is a document outlining this procedure to help you understand it and communicate it to all of your teams. There will be a copy of it attached around the courts as well. Please make sure they’re all aware and factor this into their warm up time too.
Following the game, please move towards the presentation area and we’d then love to have the teams pose for a photo for our social media. There are 10 medals allocated per team.
Lastly, please make sure that all teams are reminded of the level of behaviour that is expected from everyone, including spectators as well. We are happy for cheering and excitement and competitiveness, as long as it remains within the spirit of the game.
