Hi everyone,
Each
year,
Caulfield & District Netball Association (C&DNA) proudly hosts Pink
Round—a special event dedicated to raising awareness and much-needed funds for
breast cancer research, support, and prevention. This initiative brings
together our netball community to show solidarity, spread awareness, and
contribute to a cause that affects so many lives.
Why We Hold Pink Round
Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent health challenges faced by women and their families. At C&DNA, we believe in using the
strength of our sporting community to make a difference beyond the court. Through Pink Round, we:
Raise awareness of breast cancer and encourage early detection.
Fundraise to support vital research, patient services, and advocacy programs.
Show support for those affected—whether they are players, families, or friends.
Pink Round is about more than just wearing pink—it’s about standing together as a community with a shared commitment to supporting, educating, and making an impact.
How we Celebrate
Throughout the event, our teams wear a touch of pink to show their support—pink ribbons, socks, bibs, or even creative accessories to embrace the cause. We also run:
Fundraising activities, including selling sweet treats and raffles.
Special tributes to recognise those affected by breast cancer.
Community engagement, encouraging everyone to get involved and help spread the message.
Making a Difference
The funds raised during Pink Round go towards breast cancer research, treatment advancements, and patient care programs, ensuring that those impacted receive the support they need. Every donation—big or small—helps drive progress toward better prevention, treatment, and, ultimately, a cure.
At C&DNA, we believe sport is not just about competition; it’s about coming together, supporting one another, and using our platform for positive change. Pink Round is a powerful reminder of the strength of our community and our ability to make a real impact.
Together, we play for something bigger. Together, we fight for a future free from breast cancer.
Please share this message with your club to make this year our biggest fundraiser thus far.
