Fair Play Code

Semi Finals Saturday 19th November

St Anthony's Glenhuntly Netball Club extends it's congratulations to our 6 teams playing Semi Finals 

We extend our congratulations to the following teams playing in the Spring 2022 Semi-Finals:-

Comets (U13-6),
Thunderbolts (U13-7),
Hurricanes (U17-5),
Supernovas (U17-5) (which means one will knock the other out unfortunately),
Meteors (Open-3)
Sapphires (Open-4)

PLEASE NOTE the following things to remember for finals:

• Players may only play in ONE team for the finals series
• All teams must supply a scorer for the game, to stand next to the scorer from the other team
• Coaches may only coach from the goal third in which their team bench is located and may not walk up and down the entire side or end of the court.
• All players, coaches, team managers and spectators are expected to abide by the CDNA Code of behaviour on the day
• Please find attached the CDNA Finals By-Laws, which includes what happens in the event of a drawn game
• Please pay close attention to the court that has been allocated for each game as it may be different from the courts that have been played on all season
• All clubs will receive an invoice for their finals matches following their completion, to pay promptly

As if they knew it was finals time everywhere, Netball Victoria have emailed us through The Fair Play Code, which first came into effect on 1 July 2018 from the Victorian Government/Sport and Recreation Victoria to help restore sportsmanship, integrity and respect in sport by outlining the standards of behaviour expected by everyone involved in sport in Victoria.

At the heart of the Fair Play Code are five principles:

• Integrity
• Respect
• Responsibility
• Safety
• Fairness

These principles apply to everyone involved in sport in Victoria, no matter what role they play, so we ask that you too ensure the principles are adhered to by all of your members across the upcoming finals series at CDNA.
