As we head into the final series, can all players, team managers, coaches and parents please remember the Codes of Conduct, attached? You will see the notices all round the courts urging respect and fair play in response to some issues earlier in the season. St Anthony's can be proud that all our representatives - players, coaches, team managers and spectators - have conducted themselves with the utmost of sportsmanship and have not been subject to any concerns. Let's continue this into the finals series.
PLEASE NOTE the following things to remember for finals:
As if they knew it was finals time everywhere, Netball Victoria have emailed us through The Fair Play Code, which first came into effect on 1 July 2018 from the Victorian Government/Sport and Recreation Victoria to help restore sportsmanship, integrity and respect in sport by outlining the standards of behaviour expected by everyone involved in sport in Victoria.
At the heart of the Fair Play Code are five principles:
These principles apply to everyone involved in sport in Victoria, no matter what role they play, so we ask that you too ensure the
principles are adhered to by all of your members across the upcoming finals series at CDNA.
For more information, please….
Thank you all for helping finish off the year on a positive note. We can’t wait to see you all around the courts supporting teams in the finals.
Keep up to date with events and news
