Registering As A Team Manager Coach Or Committee Member

More Information for Team Managers

If you are new to the role of team managing, welcome aboard.

If you are taking over from a previous team manager, hopefully they will have provided you with a handover. For new teams and newly appointed Team Managers we provide a checklist below to assist in managing your new role.

Firstly, your role should not be overly burdensome - the club now pays our non-volunteer coaches directly rather than TMs having to collect and distribute funds to the coach, so that in itself is a major lifting of workload.

You are the communication hub for your team between the Club and the players/parents. The Club will distribute information from CDNA and other relevant sources to you, which we ask you to transmit to your cohort in a timely manner. Many of our teams use WhatsApp or Messenger or emails to communicate news and events to the players & parents. The club will send club-wide emails from time to time but rather than flooding the membership with constant emails, we ask that you pass on this information day to day.

Starting from Scratch
So you've got 6 or 7 friends in the same year level who want to play netball together (5 would do, we can probably fill extra gaps from enquiries)
