Hi everyone,
We’re so happy to be saying welcome back! We hope you all got through lockdown as well as possible and are looking forward to being back out there this weekend!
Thank you for your patience as we worked through all of the necessary advice and guidelines. We now need to update you and your members on the protocols for the next two weeks. There’s a bit of information to get through but it is all super important, so please read it thoroughly!
All of the below information is a directive from both the Victorian Government and our governing body, Netball Victoria. It is a requirement that we all abide by this and that we consider the safety of our own community.
SPECTATORS
We have a strict density limit of 300 people maximum allowed to be on our courts and surrounding surfaces at any one time. This means the courts, the sidelines and the walkways at both ends of the courts too. What’s not included in that area is the car park (behind the perimeter fence), the soccer oval (behind the perimeter fence) and technically the grassed areas beside courts 1 and 10 (behind the ropes we put up). With the people who are allowed (outlined above) we will be up around the 260 people mark anyway, so we cannot have parents just coming in to watch, as it will tip our numbers over the allowed 300 people mark straight away.
If you have parents who want to come along to watch, they can do that but they will all have to stand outside the perimeter fences…all of them…. and maintain social distancing and gathering restrictions. Our COVID Safety Officers will be at the entry points to help with this.

NEW UMPIRES
That covers everything I think! Thank you for taking the time to read through this. We know that everyone is doing everything within their power to avoid an outbreak happening and our great community being affected.
** Please pass this onto ALL of your members so they understand what is expected of them too. **
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask any time. Our staff will be there to help on the weekend if you need as well.
Thank you for helping CDNA stay COVID safe.
Take care and have a great weekend!
Kind regards,
Penny Forrest
