CDNA Update 25th October

CDNA Update 25th October

Just a few things to let you know about this week……

Relay For Life

The Relay for Life is on this weekend at the Athletics track. It’s going all day Saturday which means that parking will be extremely challenging. Please allow sufficient extra time to arrive in time for your games. They will be setting up some stuff Friday night too, so please be mindful.

Added to the parking, there will also be some food vendors around for them, who are of course happy for us to use as well….crepes, falafels, waffles, sandwiches…..

2020 Registrations

The 2020 registrations should be open and information out to clubs by the end of next week (1st November)

11/U Round Robin

The 11/U Round Robin information in its entirety should also be out to clubs early next week for forwarding to all of those 11/U teams for their planning.

Matches Played

Penny will be completing the season’s match counts by mid next week in order to help plan for the upcoming finals. Please be reminded that players need to have played 3 games to qualify for a particular team for finals, meaning this weekend (26th Oct) is the latest you can bring in a new person with that intention. If you have any questions please contact club secretary.

Bystander Behaviour

Subsequent to the discussion at the Club Forum earlier this week and also a reminder from our Umpiring Leadership Team too, here is some information from Glen Eira Council, who are inviting people to attend a very relevant and interesting performance on the importance of bystander action to create strong and safe communities.

"We are all Bystanders"

VAFA and Glen Eira City Council invite clubs to attend

‘You the Man’

An engaging performance on the importance of bystander action to create stronger and safer communities supporting AFL Victoria’s Respect and Responsibility Standards.

The performance will include a panel Q&A featuring:
