Further information from CDNA about what's happening with Autumn 2021 Semi & Grand Finals at Duncan Mackinnon below:-
As you’ve probably all no doubt seen, the Government today made an announcement on the easing of restrictions for Melbourne. There was a lot of information to take in and we wanted to update you as much as possible.
Our competition will not be able to return this Saturday (12th) as we originally hoped, but the Government did earmark their plans to hopefully return us to competition next week (19th June), and so we will now work towards that as being our Semi-Finals date and the Grand Finals on the 26th June. We will also hold onto the hope of running our last 11/U round on Friday 18th June, as mentioned earlier.
It was also announced today that community sport training can resume this Friday (11th) too. It is up to you if you would like to resume from then, but there will be more restrictions in place that absolutely must be adhered to by everyone.
I have an important meeting with Netball Victoria tomorrow night at 7pm to go over everything and to have all of the latest guidelines confirmed. If there is anything new, I will make sure I update you first thing Friday morning.
** Please pass this information onto all of your members. **
We thank you again for your flexibility and understanding as we work through this together. Obviously we can’t wait to see you all out on court again and to the Semi-Finals taking place on the 19th June. Don’t forget that Spring entries are also now open as well.
We will keep you updated and look forward to speaking with you all again soon.
