Netball Victoria FAQs

Netball Victoria membership is valid from January 1st until December 31st in each calendar year. If you have registered elsewhere for the coming year, please ensure that you use the same login to register with St Anthony’s so that your paid VNA is deducted from our registration process. 

Please contact registrations@stanthonysnetball.org.au if our registration page is showing VNA payable and you think you have paid it already for the current year. Proceeding will require obtaining a refund for VNA from Netball Victoria directly using their application process and policies as we are unable to refund VNA via the Club anymore.

St Anthony’s welcomes all players of any playing level. Please submit our Registration of Interest Form and our Registrations Officer will get back to you as soon as practicable to advise if  we have any suitable vacancies

The Netball Connect site for St Anthony’s Glenhuntly registrations will automatically apply the family discount where multiple family members are registered using the same login. Each family member needs to be registered at the same time usinig the +Add Another Participant at the top of the Netball Connect form (last page before submitting Submit - refer further instructions on our Registrations page)

Yes, NetballConnect allows members to have multiple roles, including Player (junior, senior, veteran, NetSetGo), Umpire (junior, senior), Team Official (coach, team manager) and more. Please see registering as coach (below) and use the discount code COACH so that VNA fee will be paid by the club.

Yes. Using Netball Connect you are able to register for two clubs if for example you were playing Rep or Night Netball you can register for St Anthony’s also. You cannot register for two different clubs in the same Association. If you are changing from another Club within the Association you will need to contact us (registrations@stanthonysnetball.org.au au) to arrange a Transfer or Clearance. 

Netball Victoria immediately receives the payment for VNA when you register via online payments. Should circumstances change and you are unable to play for our Club, the VNA payment will 'transfer' to a subsequent club when a Transfer is completed either by us or the receiving club via Netball Connect. If you will not be playing netball at all in the applicable year you can apply to Netball Victoria for a refund using their application form:-

Single game vouchers are required if filling in for a team and you are not registered with Netball Victoria (can be at any club or Association) in the current registration year. These can be purchased online only and only 3 Single Game Vouchers can be purchased in a year. If you are likely to fill in for a team more often than that you would be better off registering for the year as you will need to pay the full amount once the 3rd game has been reached.

Go to our normal registration page and select the Registration Link button and complete registration but when it reaches the last page - select Single Game Fee ($5.00) instead of Total Season Fees. Contact registrations@stanthonysnetball.org.au if you have any difficulties registering for a single game.

As part of the Netball Connect registration process, the VNA component is immediately triggered to ensures hat you (or your player) have immediate compulsory Netball Victoria membership. You will have the option to pay immediately via Stripe either the full amount or you can choose to pay via Installments. The annual VNA will be paid in the first installment in either case. Please Note:- You will still need to register a 2nd time using our normal registration link to appear on the CDNA lists but using Discount Code INSTALL will mean no further payment is required. Yes, we will happily arrange a Payment Plan if you require. Please contact registrations@stanthonysnetball.org.au as Netball Connect has the facility to set up an instalment plan. As a not-for-profit Association our intention is to make it accessible for all, therefore if you are hesitating to register due to any financial difficulties, please contact treasurer@stanthonysnetball.org.au (in confidence) for consideration of waiver of club fees.

As an inclusive club we will do our level best to make whatever arrangements need to be made to facilitate young people participating in netball. Please contact vicepresident@stanthonysnbetball.org.au (in confidence) and we will do our best to assist with the financial burden. We will look at the options which may include checking eligibility for the Get Active KIDs voucher program or fee reduction depending on your personal circumstances and after approval from the Executive of the Club Committee.
