The Social Netball Club

St Anthony’s is a non-denominational netball club that focuses on girls and boys playing with their old friends or making new friends on the netball court. Our players are not graded and put into different teams from year to year. Our teams are formed in U11 and they stay together as they progress through the different age groups.

Of course, people leave and join the teams but we find that a core group of girls stay within the team all the way up to U25!

Our Teams compete in the Caulfield and District Netball Association. Under 11’s compete on Friday evenings and Under 13’s, 15’s, 17’s & 25’s compete Saturday mornings. All games are held at the Duncan McKinnon Netball Courts (Cnr. Murrumbeena & North Roads, Murrumbeena). Our primary aim is that the girls and boys really enjoy their netball and have consistency within a social group. We encourage our players to develop their netball skills and all teams up to U17 have regular training with appointed coaches.

We are not officially affiliated with St Anthony’s School Glenhuntly, although we do have a close relationship with the school. Our players come from all areas of Carnegie, Murrumbeena, Ormond, McKinnon, East Malvern and Elsternwick

.So if you are looking for a netball club where the focus is on fun, fitness and friendship please contact us:

CDNA has advised that registrations for Autumn 2021 will get underway shortly, we are just waiting on Netball Victoria to open up 2021 MyNetball...

and other information....

With Daniel Andrews’ recent announcements, we wanted to touch base with you all with the latest update from CDNA.

As you all know, CDNA made the decision to cancel the 2020 Spring season completely and then refunded all clubs their complete fees that were paid for this year. One of the government’s announcements yesterday was that from November 1st, 18/U contact sport will be able to resume and 18+ can commence with non-contact sport...

Notice is hereby given of the St Anthony's Glenhuntly Netball Club AGM - to be held via a Zoom Meeting on Tuesday 1st September at 7:30PM.
All committee roles are declared vacant at this meeting and the election of new committee will be held as well as presentation of the financials for the year ending 31st May 2020. Additionally, adoption of new Rules of Association for the Club will be voted on.

All teams are required to nominate at least one representative for the new committee

CDNA emailed all clubs on Friday 19th June to announce their plan to return to competition - hooray!!
* Plan is to return to full competition on the weekend of the 24th / 25th July
* Plan is to return to 'normal' full training court allocation roster from the 13th July.
PLEASE NOTE: Both of these decisions are entirely dependent on both Netball Victoria and Glen Eira Council providing us with adequate permission, guidelines, directives and access to do so. We are expecting this communication from them next week....

Late last week we saw Netball Australia release it’s comprehensive Return to Play guidelines. Added to this, Glen Eira council contacted us late on Friday with their detailed guidelines as well. This means that we, as a community sporting association, are now able to come up with more definitive plans in terms of what that means for us.

Some of our lovely teams over the years, some current, some have grown up and moved on. We've loved having them all...
