Following the changes announced by CDNA for the inclusion of boys over the age of 13 years in U15 Mixed Teams and Open Age Group competitions, we are taking expressions of interest in taking part in these sections. We are taking Expressions of Interest only at this stage so that we can establish whether we have enough interest to register a mixed team in any of the sections U15 and above (up to 3 boys can play in a mixed team). We are also happy to hear from any senior or veteran players who would be interested in playing in the new Open competition. …

CDNA hosted a Presidents' Forum with discussion around some important proposed changes for the competition for 2020 any beyond. These included:-
* Changes to U25 age group
* Changes to offerings around boys and mixed teams
* Changes to uniform policies
* Changes to extreme heat policy
* Increase in fees

It has been suggested that players would prefer we move to a more modern A-line dress (image not indicative of final design) instead of the two piece top and skort. The Committee has yet to take a vote on this and we haven't finalised costs etc. as we are hoping to obtain some funding to subsidise the changeover cost (as well as implementing an online shop for uniforms). On Sunday 15th September Waverley District Netball Association will be running their annual club tournament. The tournament is open to female and mixed teams from any association in 11/u, 13/u & 15/u sections. Teams can be made up of players from different teams and associations. - Strictly no representative teams allowed. …


The Rotary Club of Emerald & District is again holding the “Kids Fun Run with Thomas” event on Sunday 24th November at the Puffing Billy Station, Gembrook. Children ages 3 - 12 run against Thomas the Tank Engine. Apart from it being a fun day it is raising funds for the Monash Children’s Cancer Hospital. …

St Anthony’s Glenhuntly Netball Club started way back in 1977, long before our current association (Caulfield District Netball Association) commenced in 1992 and we were a founding member of that Association. St Anthony's Glenhuntly Netball Club continues today as a non-denominational netball club that focuses on girls and boys playing with their old friends or making new friends on the netball court. Our players are not graded and put into different teams from year to year. Our teams are formed in U11 and they stay together as they progress through the different age groups.

Of course, people leave and join the teams but we find that a core group of players stay within the team all the way up to Open Division!

Our Teams compete in the Caulfield and District Netball Association. Under 9s & Under 11s compete on Friday evenings and Under 13’s, 15’s, 17’s & Open compete Saturday mornings. All games are held at the Duncan MacKinnon Netball Courts (Cnr. Murrumbeena & North Roads, Murrumbeena). Our primary aim is that the girls and boys really enjoy their netball and have consistency within a social group. We encourage our players to develop their netball skills and all teams up to U17 have regular training with appointed coaches.

We are not affiliated with St Anthony’s Primary School Glen Huntly, although we do have a close relationship with the school. Our players come from all areas of Carnegie, Caulfield, Chadstone, Murrumbeena, Ormond, McKinnon, East Malvern, Ripponlea and Elsternwick to name a few.
